So why is this called More Bass? One of the best players I've ever seen is Dennis Johnson. Dennis was a member of Chase in the early 70's, and later became part of the band Survivor with drummer Gary Smith, guitarist Frankie Sullivan, vocalist Dave Bickler, and of course Jim Peterik. In days long past, as a young bass player, I had the wonderul opportunity to see Dennis with both Chase and Survivor. In fact, when Survivor was just beginning the band played many small venues in Chicago and Northwest Indiana, and my friends and I were loyal fans. Dennis Johnson's trademark in those days was on orange T-shirt with the words More Bass. I agreed completely. So my domain name is simply a tip of the hat to Dennis Johnson, Chase, and Survivor, all reasons I try to keep music alive so many years later.
